He did his early schooling from “M.K. Memorial School” till 10th standard and then completed his class 12th exam in 2008 from “Shiv Jyoti” School in Kota Rajasthan where he also prepared for IIT-JEE. He then cracked the exam and done graduation in “B.Tech. Civil Engineering” from “IIT (Indian Institute of Technology) Kharagpur”, West Bengal, India (2008-2012 Batch).

He started doing mimicry of his teachers while he studied in Kota and from there he brushed up his observation skill and mimicking of people’s mannerism and tone.
In college, during a ragging session, his seniors pushed him to perform an ad-lib English elocution act to deliver actor “Al Pacino’s” lines from “The Scent of a Women” movie. Though he struggled with his English, coming from a Hindi medium school, his attempted performance was well received.
Consequently, his seniors referred him to the “Hindi dramatic society” where he finally met his senior “Biswapati Sarkar”, who currently is the Creative Director at The Viral Fever (TVF). He did 2 month internship as research assistant at “King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi”, bankok Thailand in 2011.

Arunabh Kumar founder of TVF and alumnus of IIT-Kharagpur came to college and offered him a full time paid job at TVF in Mumbai. He worked 4 months there as the associative creative head from May 2012- Aug 2012. He shot a couples of videos during his tenure and then left for Bangalore looking for job.

Jitendra Kumar got a job as civil engineer at Shimizu Corporation Bangalore where he worked for 7-8 months. He then quit the job and applied for NSD (National School of Drama) but didn’t get admission.
He later came back to Mumbai and to pursue acting and also did tutoring to cover his expenses. In 2014, he played the role of “Laxman” in feature film “Shuruaat Ka Interval”. “Biswapati was one of the writer in the film.

In 2014, got a breakthrough role of “Prateek (Gittu)” in season 1 episode 4 of TVF superhit series “Permanent Roommates”.
In Feb 2014, Jeetu was featured in a TVF’s episode titled “Bollywood Aam Aadmi Party: Arnub’s Qtiyapa”, where he mimicked Delhi CM “Arvind Kejriwal”.The video got viral with 7.5 million views on YouTube and Jeetu’s grasp of mannerism and comic timing was praised by fans.
In February 2015, he reprised his role of “Arjun Kejriwal” for TVF’s “Barely Speaking with Arnub” episode 3 with “Arvind Kejriwal” sitting next to him. He later reprised the same role for TSP’s “Fukrapanti | If Politicians Were Teachers” in 2017 and TVF’s “Celebrities in College – Arwind Kejriwal” in 2018.

His character “Jeetu” and his dialogue “Gunday nahi, entrepreneur hain be***chod!” became an instant favourite of the youth from the 2015 web series “TVF Pitchers”. It is India’s one of the most successful web-series with a whopping 9.2/10 IMDB rating with 43,439 votes.
He and actress “Akanksha Thakur” share a very good on screen chemistry and often play the role of couple, girlfriend/boyfriend and wife. (The videos shown in italics featured both Jeetu and Akanksha). He also shares a good rapport with “Badhai Ho” fame “Gajraj Rao”, who played the role of his father in almost all his videos.

Apart from web series and TV ads Jitendra Kumar has also worked in various movies. In 2014, he played the role of “Laxman” in a drama anthology film titled “Shuruaat Ka Interval”. Jeetu’s most recent released movie is the 2019 comedy drama film titled “Gone Kesh” where he played the male lead role opposite actress “Shweta Tripathi”. His upcoming movie is Yoodlee Films romcom titled “Chaman Bahar”, where he will play the role of “Billu”, a young paanwala, who falls in love with a pretty schoolgirl, played by “Ritika Badiani” who lives in a house opposite his shop.
In June 2019, it was announced that Jitendra Kumar (aka Jeetu TVF) will play the love interest opposite actor Ayushmann Khurrana in upcoming Bollywood movie titled “Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan” (शुभ मंगल ज़्यादा सावधान), set to release in February 2020. Initially Jeetu wasn’t interested in the role as he was busy planning for a web series. But then Ayushmann met with Biswapati Sarakar and told him to convince him about the film which paved his way to play the role of “Aman Tripathi” in this Gay Rom-Com. In this film also actor “Gajraj Rao” is playing his father.
In November 2019, Jitendra played the role of ‘Neel’ opposite actress Akanksha Thakur, who played his wife ‘Sameera’, in the MX Player original series titled “Cheesecake”. The story revolved around a golden retriever pet and the couple.
In April 2019, Jitendra Kumar played the role of “Jeetu Bhaiya” in season 1 of the 5 episode TVF web series titled “Kota Factory”. The series was the first black and white web series of India following the story of students in coaching hub “Kota”. Jitendra played the role of a physics teacher and actors “Mayur More”, “Ranjan Raj”, “Alam Khan” and “Ahsaas Channa” played student in the series. It is also one of the most liked Web series from India which currently holds a 9.2 IMDb rating with 16000 votes.
