BLACKPINK LISA’S PREDEBUT & PROFESSIONAL K-POP CAREER | RINGA LINGA & GOT7’s BAMBAM:

Blackpink’s Lisa and GOT7’s Bambam friendship (#BamLisa):

Back in Thailand, when Lisa was only 11-12 years old, she was a part of eleven member Thai children dance troupe called “We Zaa Cool” along with “GOT7’s BamBam” and “NCT‘s Ten”. All three Thai K-Pop idols are childhood friends and maintained a close friendship even now; especially Lisa and Bambam, as their family are also said to be close to each other. BamBam once revealed in an interview that he calls ‘Lisa’ “noona (누나)” even though they’re about the same age because she used to be taller than him when they were kids. In September 2009, “We Zaa Cool” entered the “LG Entertainment Million Dream Sanan World” competition, which was broadcasted on Channel 9 in Thailand and won the “Special Team” Award.

In 2010, Lisa, being a K-Pop fan herself, casually auditioned for “YG Entertainment’s” Thailand auditions. There were 4,000 other participants but Lisa was the only talent which was accepted. She officially joined “YG Entertainment” on April 11, 2011, as the labels first non-Korean artist. She trained with “Jisoo (지수)”, “Jennie (제니)” and “Rosé (로제)” for 5 years and 3 months before debuted with all new K-Pop group titled “BLACKPINK” in 2016.

On the other hand Bambam became a “JYP trainee” in the same year (2010) but debuted with his boy band GOT7 in 2014, two year earlier than Lisa.

In 2013, Lisa appeared “TAEYANG’s – RINGA LINGA (링가 링가) music video. During their training all four Blackpink member’s had learned foreign language especially English and Japanese and Korean for Lisa, so she is a polyglot speaking four languages English, Korean, Japanese and Thai. They even took dance training in japan.

JOURNEY WITH BLACKPINK (블랙핑크):

Blackpink, the South Korean girl quartet, was the first girl group to debut under “YG Entertainment” in six years after K-Pop group “2NE1”.

The talent hunt audition’s four winners became the four members of “Blackpink”, which were “Jisoo (지수)”, “Jennie (제니)”, “Rosé (로제)” and “Lisa (리사)”. They all debuted with their single album “Square One” on 8th August 2016. Blackpink’s K-pop fandom is known as “BLINK”.

The K-Pop group has since made its special place among the K-Pop fans, both in Korea and Internationally. All its songs break into the K-Pop top charts. Recently it’s June 2018 released music video titled “BLACKPINK – ‘뚜두뚜두 (DDU-DU DDU-DU)’ M/V” became the first K-Pop group song to enter the YOUTUBE’s “billion views club”, with 1,045,398,504 views, beating the likes of much loved K-Pop boy band BTS, which has their song “BTS (방탄소년단) ‘DNA’ Official MV” still in chasing with 898 Million views; giving nudge to the ongoing “BLACKPINK Vs BTS” war. The group also made history when it was named in “TIME Magazine’s (100 Next) most influential” in 2019, and was also the “first female K-pop group invited to perform at the Coachella” music festival.
