The Speed Queen is 5 feet 7 inches tall with black hair and beautiful brown eyes. She weighs 53 kg with body measurements of 32-26-34.

Her father’s name is “Kirit Erda”, who is a businessman in Vadodara and owns a go-karting and off road sports track there by the name “Erda’s Speedway”. She also has an elder brotherVrajesh Erda” who is an Interior Designer.

She did her schooling from “Rosary High School”, Vadodara, Gujarat and had given her class XII board exams this year.

She take her studies very seriously and try her best to not miss her classes and even if she do miss some of them, she tries to cover them up in extra classes. Her mother “Nima Erda” have been a great support in this regard.

Mira was introduced to go-karting sport when she was 8 years old, by her father. She began racing in competitions when she was nine years old.

Her first race came just few days after her training, in the “2010 JK Tyre National Rotax Max Championship India”. She secured 7th Position in the championship.

Later that year, she participated in her first international race at the “Yamaha SL International Challenge” in Malaysia. She was also awarded “Best New Upcoming Driver of the Year 2010”.

She managed her first podiums and race wins in 2011. First she stood at 3rd place in the “MMS-JK Tyre Rotax Rookie Cup 2011”.

Then she stood 5th at National level in “Micro Max category of JK Tyre National Rotax Max Championship 2011” and then 2nd Place in the 5th & 6th rounds of “JK Tyre National Rotax Max Championship 2011”.

In addition to that she was also awarded “Best Improved Driver of the Year 2011”

In 2012, Erda decided to pursue karting as a full-time career and was coached by coach “Armaan Ebrahim” in chennai. She began her journey as one of the youngest in national karting and had been competing in LGB Formula 4 (a step between karting and Formula race cars) since 2014.

She got 5th Position in “All Stars Karting 2012” Invitational “Yamaha SL International”.

She then made her way to the “JK Racing Championship 2014” to become the youngest “Formula 4 girl driver” in India.

Through her consistent improved performances, Mira became the “Formula 4 Rookie Champion of the Year 2016” and was honoured by FMSCI, the governing body for motorsports in India, with the “Outstanding Woman in Motorsports award”.

In 2017, she became the “first Indian woman racer” to take part in the prestigious “Euro JK series” of “JK Tyre- FMSCI National Racing Championship 2017”, one of the highest classes of Formula racing in India.

In 2018 Indian racers “Mira Erda” and “Sneha Sharma” name have been included in the preliminary list of 55-names for the “all-female single-seater W Series 2019”, out of which 18 drivers will be shortlisted to take part in the first season of the championship.

W Series will start in 2019 and is an attempt to find female Formula 1 stars, as at the moment the highest level they can reach is Formula 3 level.

It will offer a prize fund of $1.5 million distributed down to 18th place and the winner will earn $500,000 to fund her career up the motorsport ladder to F1.

As motorsports can get mentally and physically very gruelling and demanding, she devote about 3 hours in the gym five days a week, doing a range of exercises like TRX (Total Body Resistance Exercises), Pilates, crunches, weightlifting and sprinting.

She also maintains a rigorous diet and training schedule to prepare herself for the much needed stamina to operate such beast machines.
