Childhood and Family Details
Sanjana was born in a Punjabi Sikh family. Her father “Sandeep Sanghi” is an eminent entrepreneur and her Mother “Shagun Sanghi” is a Homemaker.
She lives in “DLF Chattarpur Farms” with her family.
Her elder brother “Sumer Sanghi” is just as bright as she is and is currently working in Google San Francisco.

She did her schooling from “Modern School”, Barakhamba Road, Delhi from 2001-2014.
In 2014 she was awarded with “CBSE Merit Certificate”. She was “All India CBSE topper in Psychology” in class XII Board examinations. She scored a perfect 100 in the subject.
In 2015 she was awarded with “Merit Award in recognition of academic excellence through grade 6-12” by Mr Lal Krishna Advani (former deputy Prime Minister of India).
She scored above 95% marks in her XII standard board exams and even got a “Certificate of Recognition” from Smriti Irani (HRD minister) for her “outstanding performance in CBSE Class XII examinations”.

She also Covered and reported the 2016 State Assembly Elections at HT.
She started her journey in social service as a volunteer with NGO- “Aarohan”. Now with 2 Years and over 150 hours of social service, she became a project manager there, heading a team of 30 volunteers with the NGO.

In 2015 she was part of Actor-producer “John Abraham‘s” productions film “Banana”. Banana is a film about journey of a boy from adolescence to teenage.
She then appeared briefly as in the role of “young Meeta Batra” in 2017 “Irrfan Khan” starrer comedy-drama film “Hindi Medium”.
In 2017 she also acted in comedy film “Fukrey Returns”, where she played the role of “Katty”.
Sanjana’s latest upcoming movie is the Hindi remake of Josh Boone’s 2014 Hollywood romantic drama film “The Fault In Our Stars”, based on the 2012 novel of same name by “John Green”.
The film is titled “Dil Bechara” and she will play the role of (“Kizie”) / “Hazel Grace Lancaster” from the novel opposite “Sushant Singh Rajput”. In the Hollywood film the role was played by “Shailene Woodley”.
The film is the directorial debut of “Mukesh Chhabra”, who was also the Casting director of “Imtiaz Ali’s” 2011 film “Rockstar”.
