She auditioned for Ajay Devgn’s second directorial “Shivaay” when she was 17 years old and right after her 12th standard exams she was busy shooting for the film.
But due to location and budget problems shivaay release was delayed, so in the meantime, she grabbed a south Indian film opportunity.

It was the 2015 Indian Telugu language fantasy film “Akhil – The Power of Jua”, directed by “V. V. Vinayak”, from where she officially made her film industry debut. She played the female lead role of “divya” opposite yet another debutant actor “Akhil Akkineni”.

Sayyeshaa’s grandfather (Dilip Kumar) knew ANR (Akhil’s grandfather) very well and were family friends. She didn’t audition for this film, the director met her in Mumbai, liked her pictures and within a few days she started to shoot for the film. The film was a box office disaster.

Her Bollywood debut film “Shivaay” was released next year on 28 October 2016 opposite actor director “Ajay Devgn”. The film also couldn’t make a mark commercially despite it’s Diwali festive release.

She made her Tamil film debut with 2017 Indian Tamil-language action adventure film “Vanamagan (The son of the jungle)”. She played the role of “Kavya” opposite actor “Jayam Ravi”.

In 2018, she played the lead female role in three Tamil films “Kadaikutty Singam”, “Junga” and “Ghajinikanth”.
In “Kadaikutty Singam”, she played the role of “Kannukiniyal (Iniya)”, opposite actor “Karthi Sivakumar”.
In “Junga”, she played the role of “Yazhini”, opposite actor “Vijay Sethupathi”.
In “Ghajinikanth”, she played the role of “Vandhana”, opposite actor “Arya”.

She is married to Tamil actor and her “Gajinikanth” co-star “Arya” in an intimate Muslim wedding ceremony at “Taj Falaknuma Palace”, Hyderabad on 10th March 2019. The couple announced their wedding on Valentine’s Day this year via Twitter (@sayyeshaa, @arya_offl), which reads “With the blessings of our parents and family, we are delighted to share with you the most beautiful day of our lives. We are getting married this March! We seek your love and blessings in our new journey of happiness and togetherness – Arya and Sayyesha.”

Sayyeshaa Saigal is 17 years younger than her husband Arya, who was born in 1980 but the couple in love ignored any raised eyebrows as they said their wedding vows.

In 2017, Arya was part of a controversial reality television show, “Enga Veetu Mapillai”, in which 16 girls participated to win his heart and be his better half. But in the season finale, the actor refused to marry any of the finalists (Susana/33 yrs, Agatha/26 yrs, Seethalakshmi/25 yrs).

Sayyeshaa Saigal  has two upcoming Tamil films in pipeline. One is “Suriya” and her husband “Arya” in lead roles titled “Kaappaan”, set to release in October 2019 and the other is a 3D animation action adventure film titled “Kizhakku Africavil Raju” based on the legacy of late veteran actor turned politician “M.
