THE ANGEL OF DARKNESS PLOT: A MYSTERIOUS KIDNAPPER IN OLD NEW YORK?

Tension is on its peak with the Spanish-American war just started. And on the same evening, the daughter of a Spanish diplomat is kidnapped in Central Park while on an outing with her mother.

The first female to work in NYPD, “Sara Howard” has left her job as a police Secretary and has opened her own detective agency. The kidnapping case is presented to her and she seeks help of her former colleagues in this sensitive investigation.

The investigative team is led by psychologist (The alienist) Dr. Laszlo Kreizler, who discovered that the case is not political as it seems at first but instead rests with a mysterious woman with a very dark past. The case draws them away from Manhattan to the small town of Ballston Spa in upstate New York with twist and turns at every corner.

With legendary attorney “Clarence Darrow” cast to defend the suspect’s case, The Angel of Darkness is part mystery, part courtroom drama, and part psychological thriller–and pits the investigating team against their most frightening and cunning adversary yet.
